One of the many things I adore about summer is the amazing Farmer’s Markets. The perfect weekend family outing, it’s a little bit of rustic retail therapy that all ages can enjoy. The fresh air, the local offerings, the adorable animals…it all got me thinking, there are some lovely themes at the Markets to be explored in interior designs. The level of themes that farm & country houses can get away with is much different than us city dwellers. I think the secret to making it work for us city dwellers, is texture… Whether it’s concrete, jute or tartan, by adding a textured wallpaper you can introduce a rustic touch that doesn’t feel out of place.
