Timorous Beasties

Timorous Beasties’ work embodies a unique diversity of patterns, ranging from design that echoes a golden age of copperplate engraving for example of a distinctly edgy nature, an elegant transgression, a display of chic irreverence. Timorous Beasties was formed by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons at their Glasgow studio in 1990. From the outset, their successive wallpaper collections vividly redefined the identity of interiors. Today, their collections and bespoke designs ornament and furnish both residential and commercial spaces, inside and out, using a universal range of techniques and materials.
